"Dance of the Starlings" for Strings (Full Score and Parts) [PDF]
Starlings are a type of small bird that take part in a phenomenon called murmuration, where many of them fly in a huge group. They swoop across the sky in seemingly random patterns, but they do it all together as a group which makes for a wonderous natural phenomenon. This piece is meant to depict these starlings as they dance across the sky in their beautiful, magical way.
Dance of the Starlings can be performed by any size string ensemble from a chamber group to a full string orchestra.
